TIPS for for Vivid Color maintenance.

Thank you for choosing The Ruby Room for all your Vivid Color needs. We have selected several brands to give you an enhanced color experience. These colors are achieved by first lightening the hair and then adding the vivid color back into the hair. It is a timely process and requires commitment from you to maintain it properly.

We will shampoo and condition your hair thoroughly but there may be residue. As with dark denim jeans the pigment may come out on light colored clothing, towels, furniture when rubbed up against them. We strongly advise against anything colored coming in direct contact with the vivid colors especially during the first few weeks.

We can only guarantee the longevity of your color service when it has been maintained with a professional shampoo and conditioner recommended by your stylist and purchased from our salon. Color services may last from 4 – 8 weeks before needing a refresh. Please do not wash your hair more than necessary, as this will cause fading.

TIPS for for hair extensions maintenance.

To ensure your extensions have a great hair life with luster and longevity please:

  • Use only professional products recommended by your stylist.
  • Do not shampoo more than twice a week
  • Keep Emollients and conditioner away from the adhesive tabs
  • Use a Wet brush and gently brush from the bottom up
  • Have professional blow drys when possible
  • Style with low heat
  • Do not chemically process extensions

We hate rules too but we need perimeters in order to deliver the best experience possible.

Reservations

How would you liked to be reached? We can send a text message, email or voice confirmation. You choose.

Time

Reservations that require extra time such as corrective color, keratin treatments, extensions, etc are reserved with a credit card.

Cancellations  |  No Shows

Your reservation is very important to us. To enable us to utilize our waiting list, we require 24 hour notice to cancel all reservations. Excluding a one time emergency, all reservations that are not cancelled within 24 hours will be charged 50% of the total services you reserved.

Product Return/Exchange

We gladly will apply the full value of any gently used hair product within 14 days of purchase toward another product of your choice. Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on hairbrushes.

Payment

We accept cash, check and credit card payments. Mastercard & Visa. All return check fees are subject to a $35 fee.

Gratuity

We currently do not accept gratuities on credit cards.
Our Stylists now accept Venmo Gratuities payable directly to them.

Children

Life gets busy and for most of our guests this is the only time they have to relax. Please have consideration when bringing children to the salon when they do not have a reservation. For their safety and the comfort of other guests, please make sure they are with you at all times.

Masks Optional

Some guests and staff will choose to wear a mask and some not. We understand and respect the personal beliefs guiding your decision and the freedom of choice. There will be no judgement and we will continue to provide complimentary masks should you want one. You may request your service provider wear a mask during your services.
We will not ask you to disclose your vaccination status. We ask that our guests respect our employees personal and private choices and also refrain from these discussions.
